County GOP to hold caucus to fill Adams Township trustee spot

Hamilton County Republican Party (HCRP) Chairman Laura Campbell has called a caucus to fill a vacancy on the Adams Township Trustee, created by the passing of John Patrick, to be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, at HCRP Headquarters, 209 E. 175th Street, Westfield. Registration will begin at 12:45 p.m.

Anyone wishing to be a candidate must file a Notarized Declaration of Candidacy, form CEB-5, as well as a Notarized CAN-12 with the Hamilton County Republican Party no later than 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1. The forms are available upon request or by visiting hamiltoncountygop.org/forms.

Anyone wishing to pick up or turn in forms at HCRP Headquarters should do so via appointment by emailing Executive Assistant Adrienne Rogers at HCRP@hamiltoncountygop.org.

Precinct Committeemen in precincts that are in Adams Township are eligible to vote. Any Precinct Committeeman who cannot attend may appoint their duly appointed Vice Committeeman to serve as their proxy. Such proxy appointments must be made in writing and filed with the Hamilton County Republican Party no later than 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1 by any of the means listed above.

This will be a closed caucus, and only members of the caucus, caucus board, vote tellers, candidate’s designated watchers, or HCRP staff and designees will be allowed inside the caucus.
