Every month The Hamilton County Fire Chiefs Association meets in person, often with other first responders including law enforcement and 911 dispatch supervisors, to ensure open communication and inter-agency cooperation.

This month those present included (from left) Carmel Fire Chief Dave Haboush, Cicero Fire Chief Lance Overholser, Noblesville Fire Chief Dave Wyant, Hamilton County Emergency Management Agency Shane Booker, Jackson Township’s Chief Jeff Muszar (who told The Reporter he prefers to be called “Julio Chavez”), Fishers Fire Chief Steve Orusa, White River Township’s Chief Carl Colbert, Westfield Fire Chief Marcus Reed and Wayne Township Chief Ron Taylor.

The Hamilton County Fire Chiefs Association is a nonprofit group established to advance the fire service within Hamilton County and the State of Indiana. Meetings take place on the third Thursday of each month. As the fire service continues to take on additional responsibilities, the meeting agenda grows.
