Poll workers counted approximately 15,000 absentee and mail-in ballots on Tuesday, and some 30,000 more are left to count across the county. County Clerk Kathy Williams says she hopes to have all those ballots counted by the end of Wednesday. Nearly 150,000 of the county’s 263,086 eligible voters cast their ballots by mail or visited early voting locations.
