Congressional Republican candidates to debate March 25 in Westfield

Twelve Republican candidates running for the 5th Congressional District will participate in a candidate forum from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 at the Westfield High School Auditorium, located at 18250 N. Union St. Please enter through Door 5.

Westfield GOP Club President Scott Willis said the forum will be the centerpiece of debates hosted in Hamilton County by the Republican Party during this election season.

“We are excited to host this event on behalf of the Hamilton County Republican Party,” he said.  “It will give Republicans in the county a great opportunity to learn more about and interact one on one with each candidate.”

Indiana Republican Party Chairman Kyle Hupfer will be the moderator of the event.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Immediately following the forum, there will be a meet the candidate event at Grand Junction Brewing, 1189 E. 181st St., Westfield. Cost for the VIP event is $25 per person.

Candidates appearing in the event include Kent Abernathy, Andrew Bales, Micah Beckwith, Carl Brizzi, Chuck Dietzen, Beth Henderson, Matthew Hook, Matt Hullinger, Kelly Mitchell, Danny Niederberger, Victoria Spartz and Russell Stwalley.
