Community First Bank ensures continued banking services during COVID-19 outbreak

As the Community First Bank (CFB) team continues to closely monitor the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19), CFB feels that it is important to share the measures the business is taking to protect its customers, employees and surrounding communities. CFB’s top priority is the well-being of the customers it serves and the people it employs. CFB’s precaution and prevention plans outlined below will offer ways to continue banking uninterruptedly.

First, CFB acknowledges the negative impact this outbreak may have on some. Thus, CFB seeks to stay in communication with those who may experience hardship as a result of the coronavirus so that assistance can be offered as needed. If you are a current CFB customer and have experienced hardship, please call (765) 236-0600 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or be in touch directly with your banker.

For now, all branches in Hamilton County will remain open for normal operating hours. CFB will announce updates if these hours change.

CFB has also worked to ensure its customers an exceptional banking experience by remaining available in the following ways for those who prefer remote options:

  • 24/7 online banking: Contact a Financial Representative in order to receive an invitation and instructions for the initial set up. Phone numbers for representatives at all branches can be found at com/Locations.
  • Mobile App available once a customer has enrolled in online banking. Search “Community First Bank of IN” in the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and download for free. Use your online banking username and password to sign in.
  • Customer Service Call Center will be fully staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call (765) 236-0600 to speak to a member of the CFB staff.
  • Easy online mortgage applications at com.

To create a safe environment within CFB branches, staff are taking disinfecting measures based on CDC guidelines, educating employees, suspending corporate travel, and offering support and encouragement for staff to stay home if need be.

Please note that CFB has suspended some domestic and international travel with the Journey Club to protect club members. Contact Sally Duke at (765) 456-4287 with any questions regarding these changes.
