The Hamilton County Commissioners have announced the hiring of Jeffrey Schemmer as the new 9-1-1 Communications Center Director.

Schemmer comes to Hamilton County from Monroe County where he served as Communication Manager for the Monroe County Central Emergency Dispatch Center.

Prior to his appointment as Monroe County’s Communication Director, Schemmer served as training officer, public safety telecommunicator and as an EMT for Bloomington Hospital Services.
