Carmel city officials invite the public to the upcoming dedication of the courtyard at Mélange to former Mayor Jane Reiman.
The ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 24 at Mélange, located at Veterans Way and Monon Green Boulevard.
Jane Applegath Reiman served as Carmel’s mayor for two four-year terms beginning in 1980. Among her many accomplishments was converting U.S. 31 into a “corporate corridor” designed to attract major employers.
Those in attendance will include Carmel Mayor Sue Finkam; Former Mayor Jane Reiman; David Leazenby, SVP of Acquisitions and Development at Onyx + East; and Carmel Redevelopment Commission Director Henry Mestetsky.
