The 34th annual Hamilton County Passion Play Behold the Lamb will be presented in five performances at the Noblesville High School Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27 through Friday, March 29, and two Saturday Matinees on March 30 at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Produced by Behold the Lamb Ministries, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit ministry, this stirring musical drama takes you through the Old Testament with the Children of Israel, to Passover Week, and ends with a spectacular Heaven finale! This production annually draws thousands from across the state of Indiana and the Midwest.
Featuring over 200 costumed actors and musicians, the cast, choir, crews, and support staff come from all across central Indiana – Noblesville, Westfield, Sheridan, Cicero, Carmel, Danville, Lapel, Tipton, Kokomo, Arcadia, Atlanta, Frankton, Summitville, Elwood, Anderson, Fishers, Indianapolis, Speedway, Middletown, Muncie, Marion, Alexandria, and Zionsville.
Behold the Lamb 2024 featured soloists include: Leslie Barker (Pendleton), Jim Burchette (Tipton), Curt Edmondson (Fishers), Emily Edmondson (Fishers), Parvin Gillim (Sheridan), Greg Hanson (Cicero), Mark Hanson (Anderson), Katie Martin, (Speedway), Monica McMain (Kokomo), Deann Ousley (Noblesville), Brittney Scott (Tipton), Rosalie Smith (Noblesville), Sara Teter (Westfield), Debora Urban (Westfield), Betty VanAlstyne (Anderson), Brittany VanAlstyne (Noblesville), Mallory Williams (Westfield).
Principal characters are Blake Whiteley (Danville) as Jesus, Steve Linerode (Tipton) as Simon of Cyrene, Noah Burke (Carmel) as Rufus, and Logan Ward (Arcadia) as Alexander.
Scenes include individuals from the Old Testament (Children of Israel, Moses, Jacob, Abraham, Isaac, Ruth, Boaz, Rahab, Solomon, King David, Bathsheba, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Elijah, etc.), and events from the New Testament (birth of Jesus, miracles, interactive marketplace, the Last Supper, Garden of Gethsemane, the crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ).
Admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets are available online through iTickets.com or by phone at 1-800-965-9324 (iTickets processing fees applicable). Tickets are limited to eight per order.
School doors open one hour before the performances, and auditorium doors open 35 minutes before start time. Due to the length of the production, intensity of some scenes, and special effects, children ages birth through four are not permitted in the Performing Arts Center. Childcare is not available.
