Back by popular demand, top-selling artist Cody Fry returns July 27 to perform with the ISO
The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO) has added a performance with singer-songwriter Cody Fry to the summer lineup at Kroger Symphony on the Prairie.
Fry will perform with the ISO at 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. Following his sellout performances with the ISO at Hilbert Circle Theatre earlier this year, his soaring vocals and brilliant compositions will take fans on a thrilling musical journey. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to see him perform at the beautiful outdoor venue of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie.
The Cody Fry performance will be in place of “She’s Got Soul” with Capathia Jenkins, which will still be performed on Friday, July 26. Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly conducts the ISO at both concerts on July 26 and 27.
Fry is an American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer based in Nashville, Tenn. He performed with the ISO in January 2024 to a sellout crowd. He performed on American Idol and has released several solo albums since 2006. His work spans many genres including pop, orchestral pop, and soul. In 2021, he was nominated for a Grammy Award. He’s released eight albums and one compilation which include recent releases such as Pictures of Mountains (2021), Symphony Sessions (2022), and The End (2023).
Tickets for Cody Fry and all of the 2024 season of Kroger Symphony on the Prairie are available online at indianapolissymphony.org/event/23-24-cody-fry-with-the-iso, at the ISO box office downtown, and at most central Indiana Kroger stores.
