Sheridan took care of business against old rival Clinton Central on Friday, sailing past the Bulldogs 57-0 at Bud Wright Stadium.
The Blackhawks held CC to seven yards of total offense and only one first down. Meanwhile, Sheridan led 44-0 at halftime, with Eli Kolb and Nolan Page both putting two touchdowns. Page let loose for a 50-yard punt return score, then took a kickoff 63 yards to the end zone. Kolb scored from 34 and eight yards.
Zach Bales and Caleb Alexander both contributed a first-half touchdown, and Joe Franco picked up a safety when he blocked a punt in the end zone. In the second half, Trent DeCraene scored on a short pass from Owen Bell, and Hayden Alexander took a nine-yard touchdown trip.
Bell was 7-of-7 in extra points, keeping his perfect record intact for the season.
Sheridan is 2-0 in Hoosier Heartland Conference play and 3-1 overall, and hosts Clinton Prairie next Saturday, Sept. 16, for its Homecoming game.
