Clerical Error Productions presents “Curses! Soiled Again!” at 2024 IndyFringe Festival

Clerical Error Productions is back for the sixth IndyFringe Festival with retro campy fun in Curses! Soiled Again! This IS your grandfather’s Batman.

It’s a dreary day in the Gotham City Home for the Evil Elderly. Mourning the death of their comrade in harm, The Joker, the arthritic arch villains cook up one last crooked caper to get revenge on their nemesis Batman, who is happily retired at Gotham Golden Acres.

Curses! Soiled Again! brings sight gags, hark backs, and a choreographed fight scene to lovers of classic comics and TV. POW!

Curses! Soiled Again! was written by Kate Duffy. David Molloy directs and Alicia Ana Hernandez-Roulet acts as assistant director and choreographer. Music is arranged and performed by JB Kapp with narration by Adam Crowe and sound design by Jon Lindley. Jonathan Lyberisse is stage manager, set designer, and make-up artist.

The five Curses! Soiled Again! performances will be at the IndyFringe Basile Theatre, 719 E. St. Clair St., on Thursday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 17 at 11 a.m.; Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 24 at 5 p.m.; and Sunday, Aug. 25 at 5 p.m. See the full Indy Fringe schedule at indyfringe.org/festival.
