Cicero Fire Department responded to a residence fire Monday evening at 1209 Frogs Leap. Fire officials reported no one was at the home at the time that the fire broke out and when the residents arrived back to the house they found the front living area full of smoke with the smoke detectors going off. First arriving fire crews were able to cool the residences on each side of the structure stopping the fire from spreading. Neighboring residences were both damaged by the flames, however damage was limited to the siding and a small portion of the roof.
Firefighters said the home was a complete loss of the structure and most of the contents. The car in the garage was able to be removed during the fire operation. The cause of the fire in undetermined and still under investigation. Cicero Fire Department was assisted by the Noblesville Fire Department and the Jackson Township Fire Departments. No fire fighters or civilians were injured as a result of the fire.
