On Friday, July 25, the Town of Cicero held a picnic for its employees.

“We know how hard our employees work to keep our town running and we don’t say thank you enough. They do a phenomenal job,” Town Council President Joe Cox said. “The picnic was about taking a break, sharing some laughs, and letting them know how much they are appreciated. They’ve earned it and none of this works without their efforts.”

Cicero Friends of the Park and Lights Over Morse Lake gave employees in attendance a $25 gift card.

Jackie Hayden, who serves as president of both organizations, said, “On behalf of Lights Over Morse Lake and Cicero Friends of the Park, we appreciate all the work that the Cicero Town Employees do to help make our many events successful. We wanted to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all of them, and to thank them for their support.”
