“It has been an honor serving the Cicero community and the past month in my new capacity has been very rewarding already,” Hunter said. “We have a great group of officers and staff and I look forward to continuing our work in the community and protecting and serving the Cicero community.”

“Chief Hunter will continue the fine legacy that former Chief Hildebrand set in protecting and serving our community,” Town Council President Rusty Miller said. “Chief Hunter is an active member of the community, he has built many strong relationships with town officials, his team, and other organizations within the community and we know that he will strive to continue to make Cicero a safe place to live and raise a family. The town is proud of all of our officers and couldn’t be happier with the promotions that have happened within the Department.”
