Christopher “Chance” Davis, 36, Carmel, passed away on March 24, 2021. He was born on September 29, 1984 in Indianapolis, son of Dorwin and Marsha Westerfield Davis.
Chance was a graduate of Western Boone High School. He worked for Crown Moving & Storage as well as Carter Express Jet Star.
As an avid sports fan, Chance followed Butler basketball, the Miami Dolphins and Nebraska football. Chance possessed a beautiful, infectious smile. He loved his entire family deeply.
Chance was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Westerfield, and grandfather, Basil Davis.
Survivors include parents, Dorwin and Marsha Davis; son, Rece Mason Davis; grandmother, Julia K. Westerfield, and grandmother, Marilyn Davis; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A time of visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Northview Chapel, 12900 Hazel Dell Pkwy., where the Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Chance be directed to Shatterproof, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States, at shatterproof.org.
