At the first Noblesville mayoral candidate conversation, Chris Jensen outlined his values, vision and the policy pillars of his campaign’s Noblesville’s Next Chapter policy agenda.

“I’m running for Mayor on four policy pillars – an agenda for Noblesville’s next chapter,” Jensen said. “We need to transform how we approach public safety, protect and enhance our historic downtown, develop a strong and sustainable workforce and make smart investments in the our infrastructure. But tonight we’re talking about the heart of our city – our people and relationships. Our city is strong because of the strength of our community and the traditions that bind us together.”

Monday’s candidate conversation, the first of three jointly hosted by the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and the League of Women Voters, focused on Noblesville’s “People and Relationships.” Issues discussed included safety, health, happiness, workforce, housing and relationships with other units of government.

Jensen has been endorsed by the Noblesville Fraternal Order of Police, the Noblesville Professional Fire Fighters Union, IAFF Local 4416, and the professional organization representing Indiana’s REALTOR’s.

“Noblesville is home. I grew up here, I live here and my wife Julie and I are raising our three kids here. We call this city home for the same reason you do – we think Noblesville is special. There’s no better place in Indiana to live, work and raise our children,” Jensen said. “Together we can build a city where it’s easier to get around, where you can find a good paying job or start a business and raise a family in a safe neighborhood. That’s the vision of Noblesville I’ve worked for as a member and past president of Noblesville’s council and what I hope to work for as mayor.”
