The Noblesville Parks and Recreation Department and Kona Ice are partnering together to offer the public a way to “chill out and relax” on Tax Day (Tuesday, April 17). For the fifth consecutive year, Kona Ice will celebrate National “Chill Out Day” by serving free shaved ice to those looking for a way to make Tax Day a little more bearable. A Kona Ice truck will be at Federal Hill Commons, 175 Logan St., from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17.
“Everyone in the public is welcome to visit the park and enjoy a free Kona Ice,” said Mike Hoffmeister, assistant park director. “We are proud of our partnership as ‘Chill Out Day’ is one small, yet powerful, way we hope to put a smile on people’s faces.”
Big D’s Dawgs and Lemonade also will be at the park offering a Tax Day lunch special of $2 hot dogs and a free soda or bag of chips with the purchase of two hot dogs.
