Cherish, the nationally accredited child advocacy center for Hamilton County, has presented Gaylor Electric with the 2022 Impact Award.
The Impact Award highlights the success and contribution of community members who have made a significant impact in the fight to make children’s lives better over the past year. The award is designed to recognize an organization’s impact on the community and the clients Cherish serves.
Gaylor was chosen for this award as it has been an ongoing partner of Cherish for many years. Not only does Gaylor consistently support Cherish’s events, but it is always willing to assist with facility needs as well. Gaylor regularly lends its gifts and influence to make an impact beyond its work as the Highest Performing National Contractor of Excellence. Gaylor truly delivers on its genuine care for people.
Cherish, a non-profit founded in 2009, is the child advocacy center (CAC) for Hamilton County. Cherish provides intervention and prevention services for victims of abuse and neglect. Services include child forensic interviews, advocacy, community education, trauma therapy intervention, and psychoeducational groups that focus on healthy relationships and safe dates. As an Accredited Member of National Children’s Alliance, Cherish is dedicated to providing comprehensive, coordinated, and compassionate services to victims and their families.

The mission of Cherish is to serve and protect the lives of abused and exploited children in Hamilton County and to provide regional leadership on child abuse and exploitation issues. Children come first in all Cherish does, and by operating closely as a team, Cherish strives to provide justice and restore hope to victims.
