The Club at Chatham Hills is honored to be the selected host site of the upcoming Mid-American Conference (MAC) Men’s Golf Championship April 26 to 28
This esteemed collegiate event is set to spotlight not just the challenging beauty of the course but also the warm hospitality of the Westfield community and Hamilton County as a premier, national destination for athletics. Chatham Hills, located in the heart of Westfield and Hamilton County, is celebrated for its distinctive undulating terrain, as well as the honor of being Pete Dye’s final course he designed and built.
Chatham extends a heartfelt invitation to residents of Westfield, the broader Central Indiana area, and alumni or supporters from the participating universities to attend and support the athletes in this collegiate event, free of charge. The geographic proximity of the MAC universities to Central Indiana presents a unique opportunity for alumni and current students to support their alma mater in person.
Participating universities include:
- Ball State University
- Miami University
- University of Toledo (Host School)
- Bowling Green State University
- Eastern Michigan University
- Central Michigan University
- Kent State University

Following the acclaimed 2023 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Regional hosted at Chatham Hills, the only non-university course selected, it’s an honor to once again spotlight the top-tier quality of Central Indiana golf, Chatham Hills, its team, facilities, members and the embracing nature of the local community. It is with great excitement to bring this competitive atmosphere back to Westfield and welcome spectators to come support throughout the competition April 26 to 28, with tee times anticipated to commence around 9 a.m. each morning. Spectators may walk on the golf cart paths to follow and support the golfers.
Jeff Roope, University of Toledo’s Head Golf Coach, said: “We’re very much looking forward to hosting the 2024 MAC championships at The Club at Chatham Hills,” Roope said. “The combination of a fantastic Pete Dye-designed golf course, a centrally-located venue within the footprint of the MAC, and an enthusiastic staff and welcoming membership at Chatham Hills has all the makings of an excellent experience.”
The City of Westfield, Hamilton County Tourism, the Hamilton County Sports Authority, Henke Development Group and of course, the team and members of Chatham Hills are united in their efforts to promote golf and bring together the community for this prestigious event. Brandon Snell, PGA, Director of Golf at Chatham Hills, encapsulates the enthusiasm for the upcoming championship: “Building upon the support and success of last year’s event, we are excited to welcome players, spectators, and the entire Westfield community to Chatham Hills. Our goal is to celebrate not only the game of golf but also the strong community bonds that make events like this possible.”
