After arriving in the area, officers located a 2010 Chevrolet HHR that matched the description of the suspected vehicle. Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle near the intersection of State Road 32 and Little Chicago Road. Police reports indicate the driver of the vehicle refused to pull over and continued eastbound on State Road 32 from Little Chicago Road. Police say the driver reached a speed of approximately 90 mph during the pursuit and eventually lost control of her vehicle and crashed near the intersection of State Road 32 and Nixon Street in Noblesville.

The driver, Sara Lynn Foster, 46, Noblesville, was transported to Riverview Health and later booked at the Hamilton County Jail on preliminary charges of Resisting Law Enforcement – I.C. 35-44.1-3-1 (Level 6 felony) and Leaving the Scene of a Crash – I.C. 9-26-1-1.1 (Class B misdemeanor).

The alleged suspect was the only occupant in the vehicle and there were no reports of injuries. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash.

Travel on State Road 32 was restricted for a short period of time as investigators collected information for the crash investigation.

The Noblesville Police Department is also investigating an additional crash that was reported on Little Chicago Road between State Roads 38 and 32. Police believe the same suspect may have been involved.
