Charles William “Chuck” Mills

August 29, 1940 – May 30, 2018

Charles William “Chuck” Mills, 77, Noblesville, formerly of Oakridge Road in Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Riverview Health. He was born on August 29, 1940 to Russel and Mary (Bradfield) Mills in Noblesville.

Chuck proudly served his country in the National Guard and for 42 years worked as a journeyman and modelmaker for Vibromatic and Performance Feeders. He was a proud modelmaker, artist and painter who enjoyed baking, nature, motorcycles and NASCAR. Chuck loved people, enjoyed being with his friends, and relished a great conversation. Most of all, he loved the Lord and his family, and you would often find Chuck as the camera man at every family gathering.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Sandy (Watson) Mills; daughter, Cindy (Teia Ley); grandchild, Cheyenna; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Rick (Cyndi) Watson, Randy (Becky) Watson, Brian (Carol) Oliver, Lisa (Jim) McElfresh, David Pritchard, Gail Watson and Kathy Watson; as well as several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his brothers- and sisters-in-law, David “Dave” Watson, Gwenn Pritchard, Robert Watson, Ronald Watson and Donald Watson.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the funeral home, with an additional visitation from 10 a.m. to the time of service. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
