Charles Kenneth “Charlie” Booher, 73, Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville. He was born on October 4, 1944 to Charles and Maxine (VonFossan) Booher in Indianapolis.
Charlie proudly served his country in the United States Army and owned LaSalle Ambulance Service in Chicago. He worked in restaurant management for Noble Romans and Pizza Hut, as a courier for Wheels Assured in Indianapolis, and as an expediter for CTX. Charlie was a member of Faith Community Church and coached football for over 10 years for Noblesville Elementary Football League. He was an avid bowler who loved music, animals and Jamaica missions work. Charlie was also a Chicago Cubs and NASCAR fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy M. Garner Booher; sons, Charles “Scott” (Ann Marie) Booher and Kenneth R. (Courtney) Booher; sister, Beverly (Robert) Stone; and four grandchildren, Jacqueline Marie and David Booher and Nick and Nate Booher.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, George Booher; and sister, Barbara Booher Freeman.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Faith Community Church, 19201 Promise Road, Noblesville, with Pastor Patrick Propst officiating. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
