Centier Bank Carmel, 650 E. Carmel Drive, Unit 100, has generously donated $2,500 to the Carmel Fire Department’s (CFD) initiatives: Firefighter For A Day Camp (FF4DC) and Firefighter For An Adaptive Afternoon. These programs are pivotal community engagements that cater to children, offering them a glimpse into the life and responsibilities of a firefighter.

Since its inception in 2013, the FF4DC has hosted approximately 650 campers each year over the course of a week. The camp is offered free of charge, ensuring accessibility for all interested children. The camp provides children with a unique, hands-on experience, fostering both education and appreciation for the vital services firefighters provide.

“We couldn’t continue to host this amazing camp if it wasn’t for the support of our local community,” CFD Public Education Officer Renee Butts. “We are grateful that businesses like Centier Bank can see the value in what we are doing and gladly jump in to support our mission.”

This donation marks another step forward in their collaborative efforts to create meaningful experiences for children in Carmel.

“Centier Bank is thrilled to partner with the Carmel Fire Department for their Firefighter for a Day Camp!” said Linda Bricker, Assistant Vice President, Community Relations Officer at Centier Bank. “Supporting community events that uplift local families aligns perfectly with our mission of enriching the lives of those we serve. We deeply appreciate this collaboration with the Fire Department and we are looking forward to volunteering at the camp!”
