Marriott’s Autograph Collection announces its first-ever “Mark Week” – a week-long celebration dedicated to showcasing “The Mark,” a signature feature of each Autograph Collection Hotel designed to captivate and inspire guests.

Hotel Carmichael, Carmel’s luxury boutique hotel, will participate in this inaugural event from Sept. 23 to 29.

“The Mark” represents a distinctive moment within the guest experience, embodying each hotel’s unique brand and brought to life through a special space, person, or object. At Hotel Carmichael, the mark of craft is inspired by the rich heritage of The Great American Songbook – a tribute to America’s most beloved composers.

To celebrate, Hotel Carmichael will hold a daily champagne toast at Adagio Bar at 4 p.m., honoring the iconic composers of The Great American Songbook.

To kick off the festivities a little early, multi-award-nominated artist and Founder of The Great American Songbook, Michael Feinstein, will make a special appearance during the first toast on Sunday, Sept. 22, launching the week-long celebration with a memorable performance.

Here’s an interesting fact: the name “Hotel Carmichael” is a tribute to the city of Carmel and Michael Feinstein himself – combining “Carmel” with “Michael” to create the hotel’s signature identity.

“Mark Week” offers a unique opportunity for guests and the community to immerse themselves in the culture, history, and artistry that makes Hotel Carmichael a standout destination.
