The City of Fishers, a proud Commemorative Partner of the Vietnam War Commemoration, will celebrate National Vietnam War Veterans Day with a free public ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 29 at Knowledge Services, 9800 Crosspoint Blvd.
The program honors veterans and their families who served during the Vietnam War period. This year’s guest speaker is Army Brigadier General Kenneth Hubbard (Ret.), who completed over 32 years of service as the Assistant Chief of Staff, G8 (Comptroller) United States Army Central Command, SHAW AFB, Sumter, S.C.
The Fishers Armed Services Commission stands to further Fishers in becoming a community in which military service is honored and recognized as a key component to the community’s vibrancy.
