Join Fishers Parks & Recreation at this year’s free Heart Hike and celebrate American Heart Month by getting active and enjoying ecotherapy in nature. This year’s event takes place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 at Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve, 10410 Hague Road, Fishers.
Along with being heart healthy during the colder months, this event also offers a chance to learn about the environment and how ecotherapy can be a great way to ensure mental wellness. Fishers Parks & Recreation challenges you to find the all images of heart shapes found in nature that line the trails and guide the one-mile path.
After your hike, warm up by the campfire with free hot chocolate and family-friendly activities.
During the event, share your memories and how you’re being heart healthy in nature on social media using #AroundFishers.
