Fishers football star Carson Dunn announced his commitment to play at Indiana State University on Tuesday.
Dunn, an incoming senior for the Tigers, made the announcement on Twitter early in the afternoon, saying that ever since he began playing football his dream was to play at the Division I level. Dunn’s dream will come true when he heads to Terre Haute to play for the Sycamores, a Division I team that participates in the Football Championship Series (FCS).
Indiana State is coming off a 5-6 season in 2021 and finished 3-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Back home at Fishers, Dunn had a great junior season in 2021. As the Tigers’ primary running back, Dunn rushed for 734 yards, an average of 73.4 yards per game, scoring 10 touchdowns along the way. The 5-10, 190-pound Dunn helped Fishers to a 6-4 record last season.
