Carmel’s River Heritage Park rededication ceremony rescheduled

Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) will hold a rededication ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 8 at River Heritage Park, 11813 River Road, to celebrate the newly reimagined park.

The rededication will include brief remarks from community leaders and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

  • Karen Russo, Disability Awareness Advocate (The Russo family inspired the park’s inclusive design in the early 2000s.)

The event will be live streamed on the CCPR Facebook page.

Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the reimagined park’s updates, including new inclusive playground features, accessible trails, White River overlooks, and an updated shelter.
