Carmel’s Lexie Ward picks up win Sunday to finish Swimming Senior State Meet

The Indiana Swimming Senior State Meet finished last Sunday at the IU Natatorium.

Hamilton County picked up a Sunday victory from Carmel Swim Club’s Lexie Ward. She finished the women’s 800 freestyle in a time of 8 minutes, 51.05 seconds.

In the team standings, Carmel Swim Club finished first overall with a score of 2,574 points, and was also first in both the men’s list (1,319 points) and women’s list (1,255 points). Fishers Area Swimming Tigers placed fourth overall with 1,523 points, but was a strong second in the women’s standings with a total of 1,084 points.
