Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation and the Clay Township Board hosted a ribbon cutting on Tuesday to celebrate the upgrades to Flowing Well Park. The $1.8 million project includes construction of new restrooms, expanding parking and bank stabilization to prevent flooding and erosion.

Attendees listened to some history of the well, which was discovered in the 1800s, and enjoyed a guided tour of the 16 acres of woods and trails.
