Carmel wins seventh straight game

Carmel ran its win streak to seven Saturday afternoon with a 62-44 win over Fort Wayne South Side at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Greyhounds outscored the Archers in each of the fourth quarters, leading 12-9 after the first quarter and 31-22 at halftime. Three Carmel players reached double figures, including Kate Clarke, who scored 23 points.
Bridget Dunn had an outstanding game, picking up another double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Dunn made three 3-pointers and had three blocked shots.
Fatima Valiente added 10 points. Riley Pennington collected eight rebounds, while Gracie Collins had five rebounds and four assists.
The ‘Hounds are 10-6 and host Anderson on Wednesday.
