Woodland Animal Hospital in Carmel is offering free wellness exams for a pet’s first visit.
With the rise of pet ownership over the last few years, Woodland has seen veterinary care and appointment availability finally even out to pre-pandemic levels, freeing up space for new pets on the schedule. Between open appointments and a new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine recently starting, Woodland’s Hospital Administrator Amy Holland saw a perfect opportunity to be of service to the community, as well as meet new pets.
“Essential veterinary care is extremely important to being a pet owner,” Holland said. “Whether your pet is a new puppy or a senior pet that just hasn’t been to the vet in a while, we are so excited to open this opportunity for a free exam to our community.”
Ball State and Purdue alumna Dr. Tiffany Premo says she is happy to offer this service to her community as well as join the team at Woodland Animal Hospital. Dr. Premo originally joined Freeland Animal Hospital a (sister hospital to Woodland Animal Hospital) as a veterinary assistant in 2011. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. She attended Ball State University for her undergraduate degree in Biology.
The entire medical staff at Woodland Animal Hospital is committed to providing compassionate care to all patients and clients who enter the hospital.
