The City of Carmel will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for what will be the new Police Department Headquarters and City Court at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18. The ceremony will take place on Red Truck Road, which is currently closed to vehicle traffic, near the northeast corner of the Carmel Police Department building. Parking is available in the parking lot behind the Old Spaghetti Factory, which is accessible from Veterans Way at the west end of Red Truck Road.
