Three Carmel swimmers and their coach are heading to Fukuoka, Japan to be part of the 2023 World Aquatics Championships, which begin later this month.
Carmel graduates Drew Kibler and Jake Mitchell (both Olympians) and junior-to-be Alex Shackell are the swimmers who will compete for the United States team. In addition, Greyhounds head coach Chris Plumb will serve as one of the assistant coaches for Team USA.
The World Aquatics Championships begin on July 14.
