The Carmel cross country teams swept the Shelbyville Golden Bear Invitational on Saturday.
The Greyhounds boys team ran away with the meet, scoring 38 points, well ahead of runner-up Mount Vernon’s 96 points.
The girls scored 71 points; Olivia Mundt finished eighth for Carmel.

Hamilton Heights competed at the New Haven Invitational on Saturday, competing in the AA division.
The Huskies boys team placed fifth, scoring 187 points. Steven Case led Heights by placing fourth. The girls finished 12th by scoring 307 points. Anna Monnin’s 19th-place result led the Huskies.

The Golden Eagles girls placed fourth with 159 points, with Bridget Gallagher finishing fourth individually. The Guerin Catholic boys took seventh place with 256 points; Ethan Hines placed 12th.
