Carmel seeks public’s ideas on making city more bicycle friendly

In February 2019, the city of Carmel submitted an application to renew the Bicycle Friendly Community (BFC) status awarded by the League of American Bicyclists.

The Spring 2019 BFC review process is now officially underway. The city of Carmel believes that being a Bicycle Friendly community is important for residents and businesses in order to continue to make Carmel a desirable community to live, work and play.

To help the League of American Bicyclists gain a better understanding of local bicyclists’ experiences and perceptions of bicycling in Carmel, the city would appreciate your help in providing feedback. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete and each question is optional.

Question topics include your connection and involvement in the community, how often and where you ride your bicycle, changes you would like your community to make to be more bicycle friendly and a section for open-ended community feedback.
