On Thursday morning, officers from the Carmel Police Department who previously tested positive for COVID-19, and tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies, began donating plasma to aid the most severely affected by the virus. Carmel Police Chief Jim Barlow said, “We are in a unique position to help those suffering from COVID-19. Through extensive testing, we were able to identify employees who have the much-needed antibodies. As a group, we decided to donate plasma to help in the fight against COVID-19.”
