Carmel overwhelms Kokomo

Carmel overwhelmed Kokomo 79-21 in a Thursday make-up game at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The game was originally scheduled for Dec. 27, but was postponed after the explosion at the high school. The Greyhounds controlled the game from the beginning, leading 24-8 after the first quarter and 48-16 at halftime.
All 13 players that got into the game for Carmel scored. Macy Berglund led the way with 12 points, followed by 11 for Bridget Dunn and 10 for Reagan Hune. Riley Pennington and Hune both pulled five rebounds. The ‘Hounds totaled 30 steals, with Hune getting six, and Dunn and Wood each making four.
Carmel is 9-9 and will host Fishers on Thursday.
