Carmel officer earns award for work in child exploitation case

On June 19, Detective John Pirics (left) was recognized by the U.S Attorney’s Office in Indianapolis and the U.S. Department of Justice. Detective Pirics received the Perseverance Award for his role in a recent child exploitation investigation. Major Dwight Frost of the Carmel Police Department presented Pirics with the award. The Carmel Police Department is very proud of Detective Pirics and all of its detectives for their hard work and perseverance in these cases.
