The Carmel girls track and field team won a dual meet with Warren Central on Tuesday by the score of 85-47.
The Greyhounds had three 1-2-3 sweeps in the meet. Olivia Elkin led the way in the 100 hurdles, Madalyn Sailors was first in the 1600 run sweep and Lily McAndrews led the 1-2-3 finish in the 3200 run.
Other event winners were Kara Deady in the pole vault, Kiara Gill in the long jump, Dana Reed in the discus, Elkin in the 300 hurdles and all three relays.
“Another cold night, but our girls keep pushing through,” said Carmel coach Aaron McRill. “The times and marks were a little off because of the weather conditions, but we keep showing up and competing.”
The Greyhounds’ next varsity meet is Friday at the Charlie Riley Invitational at North Central.
