The Carmel girls lacrosse team won the Class 2A state championship last Saturday, beating Guerin Catholic 10-9 at Beaver Materials Field in Noblesville.
The Greyhounds were down 8-2 to the two-time defending champion Golden Eagles before rallying for the victory.
Over at Westfield, the Hamilton Southeastern boys lacrosse team beat defending champion Carmel 10-6 to win the 2A state title.
