The Carmel swim teams swept Hamilton Southeastern at a dual meet Tuesday at the Royals’ Aquatic Center.
In the girls meet, the Greyhounds won 108-78. Carmel won seven events, including a double individual victory from Madelyn Christman in the 200 and 100 freestyles. Other winners were Margaret Love in the individual medley, Colleen Duffy in the 50 free, Ashlyn Underhill in the butterfly, and the 200 and 400 free relays.
Southeastern started the meet with a victory in the medley relay. The Royals got a 1-2-3 sweep of diving, with Ashley Sinicropi first, Halli Siwik second and Sarah Ballard third. Molly Pedersen won the 500 free, Abby Harter took the backstroke and Molly Robinson was first in the breaststroke.
In the boys meet, the Greyhounds were 119-67 winners, also taking seven events. Jake Mitchell was first in the IM and the breaststroke for Carmel. Other individual winners were Jota Iwase in the 200 free, Jake Mitchell in the IM, Wyatt Davis in the butterfly, and the medley and 200 free relays.
DJ Rogers was a double winner for the Royals in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Also winning for HSE were Nathan Barr in diving, Evan Sellers in the 500 free and the 400 free relay.
