Carmel firefighter Tim Griffin (left), shown here with Carmel Mayor Jim Brainard, won his race for County Council, District 1, against challenger John V. Accetturo. “I am truly overwhelmed by the support this community has shown me over the last few months of this campaign! Of course, I want to thank my family and friends for all their help. I’m humbled to be able to serve on the Hamilton County Council. I look forward to serving the residents of District 1. Again, I want to thank everyone for their support!” If he wins in November, this will be the first time Griffin has held elected office.
