Carmel’s girls dropped a Friday game to Pike 65-57 on Bill Shepherd Court at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Red Devils led 10-8 after the first quarter, but the Greyhounds came back to lead 28-27 at halftime. Sydney Bonds scored seven points in the second period, with Mallory Bourquein adding six points. Carmel increased its lead to 45-42 after three quarters, but Pike took over in the fourth quarter, pouring in 23 points.
Three Greyhounds finished in double figures. Bourquein led with 16 points, while Bonds scored 13 points. Maddy Wallace made three 3-pointers on her way to 12 points.
Carmel is 9-10 and hosts Homestead this afternoon.
