The month of March 2022 has been designated as “Disabilities Awareness Month” by Governor Eric Holcomb to celebrate and recognize people with disabilities. Family members, friends and members of the community can play a central role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, especially when the family and community are provided with necessary support services. For its part, the City of Carmel and Mayor Jim Brainard have proclaimed March 2022 as Disabilities Awareness Month within the city. Furthermore, the city has produced a powerful, compelling video that’s a must-watch. Click here to watch on YouTube.
