Carmel Elementary School’s Leadership Club teamed up with Donatello’s Italian Restaurant to put on a spaghetti dinner on Feb. 3 to help raise money for local charities.
Donatello’s co-owner Adam Aasen (top center, wearing hat), Carmel Elementary PTO President Amal Anthony (second from right), Leadership Club Sponsor Kirsten Nilo (far left) and teacher Sara Fernkas (second from left) all worked with the third graders so they could learn about cooperation, teamwork and leadership.
The students sold all of the tickets and help take orders, deliver food, fill beverages and clean up afterward.
Carmel Clay Schools Superintendent Michael Beresford (far right) was in attendance to support the kids.
