Carmel Community Players (CCP) is offering new educational opportunities for students in grades 6 through 12.
CCP’s Theatre Education Program presents Master Class Mondays. Master Classes occur once a month, each focusing on a specific theatrical skill or trade. Each class is 90 minutes and features hands-on learning experiences taught by experienced artists, performers, and industry professionals. Classes allow students to explore different areas of theatre, learn something new or perfect their developed craft.

Resume, Headshot, and Slate-ing OH MY! Learn how to audition like professionals. In this Master Class, you will learn what the dos and don’ts of an audition are and how to best stand out to the director. Whether it’s a community theatre show, college audition, or professional opportunity, auditioning soft skills are essential for any actor or performer. Start from scratch or polish your skills this August.

Meet the instructor
Amber K. Roth is a graduate of Ball State University with a B.S. in Theatre Education (Class of 2020) and has been a part of more than 60 productions in her life. She is a middle school and high school theatre teacher in central Indiana and has been teaching youth for going on eight years now. In addition to directing the Rising Star Production of Anne of Green Gables (2024), and assistant directing Godspell (2023), she serves as the Youth Outreach Director and a member of the Carmel Community Players board.
