Carmel Clay Schools has announced that all CCS students and staff will be required to wear a mask starting Monday, Aug. 16.
The district issued a statement that said, “We are witnessing neighboring districts experience a substantial surge in cases and hundreds of students quarantined. We must do everything we can to keep students safe & learning in the classroom.”
Carmel now joins Noblesville and Hamilton Southeastern with the mask mandate.
Sheridan, Hamilton Heights and Westfield have not announced any changes to their mask policies.
