Carmel Clay Parks will rededicate River Heritage Park next week

Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) will hold a rededication ceremony from 5 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at River Heritage Park, 11813 River Road, to celebrate the newly reimagined park.

The rededication will include brief remarks from community leaders and a ribbon-cutting ceremony:

  • Jim Brainard, Carmel Mayor
  • Adam Aasen, Carmel City Council member
  • Matthew J. Snyder, Clay Township Board member
  • Rich Taylor, Carmel Clay Board of Parks and Recreation President
  • Michael Klitzing, CCPR Director of Parks and Recreation/CEO

The event will be live streamed on the CCPR Facebook page.

Attendees will have an opportunity to tour the reimagined park’s updates, including new inclusive playground features, accessible trails, White River overlooks, and an updated shelter.
