Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation (CCPR) has launched a website that will enable park visitors and community members to follow along as the department develops and implements its Master Plan titled “Live Play Carmel.” The five-year plan, which is set to be finalized by early 2019, includes the vision for projects and updates expected to be made from 2020-2024.
The website, liveplaycarmel.com, includes highlights and key events related to the Master Plan. It also includes a form for website visitors to engage and to leave feedback related to the planning process.
“Creating a master plan is a community-input driven process,” said Michael Klitzing, Chief Operating Officer of CCPR. “We know the value that our parks have to Carmel residents and we think it’s extremely important to gather their feedback along the way.”
Upcoming meeting dates and important information will be posted to the website as it comes available. To learn more about Live Play Carmel or to contact a member of the planning team, visit liveplaycarmel.com.
